personally I prefer the paddles for drag racing and keeping both hands on the wheel. slap stick is used in DD driving. in the vid the test driver was using the slap stick for the run.

None of us ever claimed the manual is faster. That might have been true a couple decades ago but technology is much better today. The fact of the matter is a manual is more fun to drive than an auto.

Auto vs mt doesn't make a difference to me. Have both.
But you spend enough money on any car and it will do 8 sec in the 1/4.
Drag racing has always been for automatic because its easier not shifting yourself.
