If you like driving manual, get the manual. If you aren't sure, you're probably better off with the automatic. Among automatic transmissions it's "very good."

Well my only choice would be to get the manual transmission because the wife won't drive a standard. If I got an automatic then I'd never get to drive it.

The autos in the Z are great! I chose the auto and have not regretted it at all. I don't really think this thread is going to help you make a decision. The best thing you can do is go out and drive them both!

No, I think they mean they chose the stick on the 370Z and don't want any more 370Z owners to go faster then them.
