I'm not agreeing, just find it funny. So, hold off on the flame throwers

Blasphemy! Hoes always matter?

Thats exactly what I meant BTW - I'll reuse your term "sloppy"...I didnt mean rev matching, mine is turned off. The AT generally will have a bit more 'slop'

Then again, I havent driven a properly built up 7AT so I cant say.

In the end of the day 6MT is all about fun...welp, plus the bitches and all! lol

A solid connection to the axle? Yes, the Z has full lockup after 2nd gear.

A Veloceter has a dual-clutch trans, and it is slow to change gears and performs poorly.

I guess I did need to revisit my "perceived manual-ness" point a bit after all...

Let's look at this another way: All "real" sports cars will soon be gone, except for older models.

So, either your view on this will change, you will stop buying new sports cars, because of their lack of purity, and/or you will eventually baffle and annoy your kids or grandkids about why their lame (but likely very fast and less polluting) cars sorely need an extra pedal to matter.

If Jeremy Clarkson, commentator, car aficionado, and all around nob could learn to stop complaining bout "flappy paddles", then anyone can...

The fact that you came so close to hitting the nail on the head despite your derision and changing from boutique cars to a mass produced econo box to attempt to justify your failed premise is comical.

The part that your Z does not have is a clutch. The part that the cars you listed do not have is a torque converter. Many, like myself, do not mind paddles when they are mated to a properly clutched transmission. A torque converter is not a clutch. That in itself makes it laughable when the "well the GTR has paddle shifters" argument is made. It shows ignorance as to what each car's transmission is comprised of.

I have no issue with ATs other than I dislike the feel and drawbacks of a torque converter. If that's what you want to drive then that's your perogative and that's great. Just quit making factually incorrect justifications as to why you do.

Forget heal toeing - let's move on to hoe'ing - heading over to the NSFW section. Later!

Especially so, when the car is presented with a bunch of constant feedback/shifting/braking/accel the 6MT is more precise just based on how a manual tranny works vs automatic....now if the Z had the GTR tranny would be different.

But yeah, its not any faster...and definitely more for fun and driving pleasure than anything.

Also, 6MT gets all the bitches and hoes and gets panties wet lol

this is the worst manual argument post yet. :faceapalm:

they have the exact same rev match.

if manuals are so awesome because they're pure and enthusiast's choice why would you use any other form of computer aided shifting?

also panties get wet looking at the car before they even see what tranny it has on the inside. any real Z enthusiasts knows that :tiphat:

I LOVE MY PADDLESHIFTERS!!!!! lol

Frankly, I think a automatic would be fine for racing. I just find an automatic boring in normal day to day driving. I can always get a little enjoyment rowing my own gears in the most mundane driving. Probably why the rev match feature has been turned off since the day I bought the car.

I guess you missed my previous post. I wasn't talking about the synchro rev feauture, I dont use that but I can see it being very helpful for some people.

I meant the AT has more slop when rev matching, due to torque converter and no clutch its not direct

Btw the 7AT rev matching is not an added feature, its just how an AT tranny works, it'll rev match your downshifts...my 2000 Maxima 4AT does that lol...and with a torque converter its not all that great. Its NOT the same thing as the SynchroRev on the 6MT, which is actually useful technology for many people that is appearing on many new BMW's and stuff

I've tried it on both cars and feels pretty much the exact same in both.

This is true. They may still be wet with the Auto-magic but not coming off. Once a 6MT stick is seen panties are off quick and hoes are basically cumming on the spot

wait.......what?

there's many cars that the owners could hate a Z who could also walk a Z.
