I think this is missing the point tho. Yes the 7AT will technically shift "faster"...
But it has a torque converter, so you do get more drivetrain loss than a 6MT. It may seem to shift faster but not sure it's getting the same power from the shift. 6MT usually always makes more power than AT on dyno due to AT drivetrain loss. And when driving fast, you can shift pretty damn quickly in the MT...not to mention, you can do other things like dump the clutch and take off like mad... You can also shift into any gear anytime with MT, in the auto you have to go thru all the gears if downshifting from 5th-2nd for example I digress... Sent from my SM-G860P using Tapatalk |

yea I think his is 133 to cycy's 131.

Welp, alright. I dont believe it till I see it, I've seen many MT vs AT arguments with different cars over the years and I dont buy an automatic w/ torque converter being better than 6MT. If it was a dual clutch, maybe...
How come the 6MT honda accord is way faster than auto? Its just math, and facts, and mechanical 6MT connection. You guys are just trying to justify purchasing the AT over MT... Either that, or all the 6MT drivers here suck. I'll take on any 7AT with same mods and guarantee a win. Sent from my SM-G860P using Tapatalk |

^^ lol
I've been wondering about this 7AT vs MT for few days... I destroyed a 370 roadster 7AT yesterday, but chalked it up to being a roadster....I need to see more 7AT coupes on the road, I never see any... Is your Z modded FP? Sent from my SM-G860P using Tapatalk |

my sig has the info. probably little less TQ when my straight pipe set-up is on. and not gonna lie lately I've been feeling a little less punch but I think it's the age catching up. this winter will be lots of cleaning, AMF cleaning, TB cleaning, new sparkplugs probably, intake filter change, fluids all around, brake pad swap, maybe rotors, the whole gauntlet lol im getting close to 50k mile mark :( |
Ahhh....once I throw the Stillen exhaust on this weekend we will be pretty even on mods minus the oil cooler and tune...
But mine has 2k miles vs 50k, would be a fun run lol Sent from my SM-G860P using Tapatalk |

but yea i'm at 48k right now as well but by the time I put it away next month it'll be right on/around 50k miles I def need to clean or replace my intake filters and the MAF and TB cleaning I feel could help not too sure if I want to undertake that whole strip and clean process lol but I got 3-5 months of down time. |

And human shifting can't shift as fast AT computer. Look back at all the fastest cars on the track, what do they have in common? (AT). |
Sounds good. I'll be resting mine in winter too, probably will wait til December to do it tho...
Why do you think it needs a maf cleaned Sent from my SM-G860P using Tapatalk |
