GTM makes a nice one. Well they actully make 2. they have the HR and the competion one. The hr is smaller but from my understanding it does a very well job and lowering temps

You need to look at how many rows you want/need and if your going to be driving in colder weather also. If you are going to be just hitting the track once in awhile then a 19 row cooler should be fine, but if you plan to be doing a bunch of events and pushing the car then you will definitely need to look into a bigger unit.

I hit limp on the last lap of the day but it wasn't bad it was on the last 2 corners and the yellow flag was out so I had to lower speed anyway.

it were sessions of half hour on, half hour off.

I just popped the hood open after every hour.

the engine does cool down pretty quickly.

If you track the car, I say 25R. You might have problem getting it up to temp on the road, but I can see how it is benefical on the track

He won't have any problems getting the engine up to temp on the road if he installs an oil thermostat (like the Mocal sandwich plate) along with the cooler.

In sub 75F weather, I have never gotten over 185F during normal driving with my custom 25R. I do have the mocal sandwitch adapter.

curious, do you 370z guys have coolant lines running through the stock sandwich plate? If so, what do you do with these lines when you install the thermostatic sandwich plate for the oil cooler?

the filter mounts directly to the engine? We have a stock sandwich plate on our G's here. with coolant lines running through for cooling. Doesn't do crap though.
