Had something similar happen for the first time today. Coming out of a sharp on-ramp I pulled for downshift from 4 to 3 and pressed throttle aggressively, but not WOT.

Coming out of a sharp on-ramp I pulled for downshift from 4 to 3 and pressed throttle aggressively, but not WOT. Car started to rev, stumbled for half a second and then took off. Not what you want when pulling into traffic, fortunately nothing was coming too close or fast.

An incident like this is what made me go to Nissan about it. It was an annoyance until then.
I reiterate... anyone with this issue PLEASE go to Nissan about it. Contact your local dealer first if possible, then contact Nissan Consumer Affairs at: 1.800.NISSAN1 |

UPDATE: I actually received a call from Nissan Consumer Affairs (I didn't call them back, THEY actually called ME!). I got a rep who stated she was in charge of my case, and was currently waiting on a response back from my local dealer service manager. She said to expect a call back by Friday, and if not, feel free to call them. Working with them has been a pleasure so far. But we'll see what the outcome is.

Also, I started a new thread to track anyone that goes to Nissan about the issue, if you want to share your stories: Throttle Delay at low RPM

Having the same issue as indicated on all previous pages. Seems the computer tracks how far and how quick I depress the accelerator pedal. If I push it quickly all the way to the floor, I only get hesitation at the point where the torque drops between 2k and 3k, as web site dynos have shown to exist. Otherwise, I get the same overall hesitation as everyone else. Makes sense that a throttle remapping would correct this.
