![]() Seriously though, I turned off VDC this morning and throttle response was a bit better as if the Z wasn't holding back as much.

Read through the thread, and wanted to let you guys know I have the same issue with my 2010 at a low rpm then mashing, there is a delay. This is with a bone stock 370z with less than a 100 miles. Also when test driving an 09 at the dealership, same thing. Both manuals. I would assume as mentioned before that it has something to do with the ecu.

The Sprint Booster guys have confirmed that they have a 30 day money-back guarantee with no questions asked. I'll do this eventually but need the funds to keep the thing if I end up liking it. I'd suggest giving this a try if the throttle lag is bothering you and then report back to all of us.

But this issue could be resolved with a good custom tune?

I had a dyno tune done using the Cobb access port which I thought made a difference but the sprint booster just seems to have made the car a lot more responsive. In saying that, there are not a lot of tuning shops available in my area maybe someone with more experience with tuning 370's might get better results. But for the price I feel that the sprint booster has made for a much more spirited drive.

How does this sprint booster effect wide open throttle for you guys who have it? Does it feel "normal" or is it blatantly noticeable where WOT occurs before the pedal is fully depressed?

The Sprint Booster seems like it's just the thing for livening-up the Z's tepid throttle response, but the price seems a little steep. I know designing and making these products isn't cheap, but $330 is a lot of money for a product that only adjusts throttle response.
Heck, can't you buy a an ecu programmer with a canned tune for under $500? I think $150 for the Sprint Booster is more appropriate. At that price it's pretty much a no-brainer, those interested would buy it without thinking twice. Last edited by rj45; 09-03-2010 at 06:50 AM. |
