Default Oil Pan Spacer and Warranty

My 370 is the first new Z I have had (7 others not so new) and I don't think of some things like warranties. I intend to put a JWT pan spacer in to increase oil capacity and wonder if this runs afoul of the Nissan warranty. My dealer says it does but i am not so sure. Any thoughts? Thanks very much.

Dealerships cant void your warrenty unless the aftermarket part causes the issue. I have a nitrous set up in my car and i been to the dealership for 2 issues. Nitrous never caused the problem so the warrenty was fine.

it really is up to the dealership you bring it to, they can tell you it voids the warranty and not want to do the work, but legally it doesn't (depending on the case). find a dealer that is "mod friendly" and wont hassle you about parts that are unrelated to other issues.

true, some dealerships are pricks, but once you show that you know the game they use the warrenty. I had 2 dealerships with my old cobalt bs me and i caught them and they ended up paying for the work.

Can't see where it would unless you screw up the install....There's a pick-up spacer. If that were to come loose or fall off because of your error you might be up a creek...
