Until we get maps I will never buy another COBB product, nor will my friends. Take that to heart if you value your rep in this community.

I would be interested in purchasing your Access Port if you had maps for the 370Z. When will they be available?

I would of course like the staged maps too...but I'll put out one suggestion for a hard part: An intake system with easy to change filters that still sucks cold air.

For example, you could start with a traditional short ram system, but just enclose the filter elements in a plastic box that has a tube coming out the bottom leading to a cold air source. I know this sounds sort of like the stock intake system, but it would have 3 important differences: bigger intake piping, higher flow filters, and no resonators like on the stock system.

The drop ins flow as well as after market filter on a stick and as I have stated on another thread, I doubt that you even come close to sucking as much air as the drop ins can flow. They are equal in intake temps as long tubes and if you want a larger MAF section (larger tubes all around I dont think accomplish anything) then just get some aftermarket ones. Also I think if you have a tune the larger MAF isnt needed either, but not too sure about that one. All I think that is needed is for nissan to bling up the stock intake to make it look aftermarket.

How are you cheated? you knew what you were buying before you made the purchase, you can easily check to see what maps are available. And if you didnt know that they werent available your just retarded for not checking. Get a custom tune done and call it a day.

when you promise something you deliver. If not thats cheating people, if it wasnt for AAM and their canned tunes the Cobb AP is no where near worth the price they want. Tunes with it yes. If you buy something under a condition that you will get something else with and dont plan on honoring that deal then its cheating the consumers to sell something. Promising something and not hororing that is retarded.

Right now I wouldnt buy anthing from Cobb till they honor their tunes.

To add to your idea these two come to mind.

E46 M3 Intake from VF Engineering.

And PWJDM S2K Intake:

You better have maps for your tuner when/if you make these bolt-ons or you it will be hard to live down here.

It's pretty nice. They sell it with a tune so it's not the cheapest but it's supposed to give good results. If something like that comes out the only concern persoanally is is the lack of check fit on the Nismo models by pretty much all parts manufacterers. So the scoops may not be placed right due to poosible differences on the non-Nismo bumpers. You can pretty much modify anything for a price though....
