5000rpm cut off
I just bought my 2010 370z roadster in MT about 2 weeks ago. One thing that is getting really annoying is that when the car is in a stand still position it wont rev up beyond 5000rpm. The manual says cuz of the "fuel saving cut off mode". Well I wanna take that **** off!!!! I wanna hear my engine if I want to! Anybody know how to take it off?
|
It's called a rev limiter and is designed to protect the engine from foolish owners revving the engine with no load!!!
|
you like to sit at a stand still and just rev to redline? Yeah Nissan is a bit ahead of you and put that in to protect the engine. If you wanna hear it put your foot down ;) while in gear.

I can rev to red line on my auto, even when i'm in park HA!
|
and i think your supposed to wait 1200 miles before going over 4k rpms unless you did that in 2 weeks

Well I wouldnt say I want to rev the crap out of it, and yea I already put 1400 miles on the car in 2 weeks lol. Im just excited about the new car and wanna have some fun with it.
O BTW Seems like im the only 370z convertible in Los Angeles County and Orange County ive only seen coupes, and those are still rare |
Put it in first and rev it....
