370Z 7 Speed Auto Review

I could have sworn that I saw a video either on streetfire or youtube that showed a 7AT getting 3 or 4 car lengths on a 6MT from a rolling

I could have sworn that I saw a video either on streetfire or youtube that showed a 7AT getting 3 or 4 car lengths on a 6MT from a rolling start. Can't find the link now though
Rolling start "speed comparisons" are usually determined by peak horsepower.

I think that dyno was in the wrong gear. Dyno in 4th and the car can rev to fuel cut. Also, my 7AT stock made the same (or more!) power on dyno as any of the 6MT's on the same dyno at the shop I use, so I'd say drivetrain losses are approximately equal between the two.

As far as speed on the road goes, the 7AT has been generally found as fast -- or even slightly faster -- as the 6MT.
