Oil Changes
Now that the intro is done.....it's down to business.
In researching the possible purchase on this great car, I would like to know about oil changes. Like the accessibility & location of the filter under the engine? Is changing the oil something the average Joe can do at home with steel Ramps and common tools.....???

Or have a great service department, yesterday I took my Z into the service department to have the oil changed, with just 1300 km on it I wanted the Filtermag an drain magnetic plug on as soon as possible, the Service manager looked in saw an empty bay an had it inside in 5 minutes with no scheduled appointment.
So they put it up on the hoist an changed the oil an installed the magnets. I went to pay for the early change he said dont worry about it the oil is bulk and the tech was standing around getting paid anyways, that an they are all car nuts an got to mess with a Z. That's why I keep buying Nissan the service has always been top notch at my dealership |

Apparently there's a smaller cover that can be removed and there's just 4 screws? |

this is where you're wrong, my friend. some cars, especially toyota v6's and mazdas are nothing like nissans, which tend to be very simple, clean changes. rx8's are the worst... yuck
