need help demon bolt

How do you get this thing out?

I sprayed all the bolts with PB Blaster every night for a week before. And then I used a 1/2" ratchet, 3 ft of 1/2" extensions, an impact swivel, an impact 14mm deep socket, and a 4 ft breaker bar. And done.

Plenty of PB blaster helped when we did the HFC swap. Ended up getting them after multiple PB sprays and a giant breaker bar.

i just used 3 ft of 1/2drive extensions, a breaker bar, and a 6point socket. No u joint required if you go from the right angle.

Never thought of that, but warming up the car would help get the bolt out?

I did the same thing. I got the one on the passenger side out just fine. I broke the one on the drivers side loose, but didn't take it all the way out while the car was still hot. Went back later to take it the rest of the way out, it was tight again and I had to snap the bolt. it doesn't matter if you break the bolt, it's not a stud and still can be removed. Hope this helps.

I know this is a relatively old thread, but I was looking at this website for AutoX stuff (tire reviews haha) and I happened to stumble across an interesting way to remove rusted bolts. After connecting the dots, I figured someone could try it on the demon bolt and let us 370z owners if it works or not.

It's pretty much just 1:1 acetone and ATF. The acetone allows the ATF to seep into the places where it needs to do it's thing.
