Motor Oil Test Suggestion
 

You know what would be really awesome...

If fifth gear or top gear did a test whereby they got 50 new same spec engines off a production line (doesn't matter which engine), put different types of engine oil in all of them and then run the engines fluctuating between 2k and 6k rpm all in sync until they all suffer complete engine failure...

wouldn't you need to do that 100 times to eliminate the variability in MTBF and MTBUR associated with the engines themselves? oil is only 1 variable... Just saying!

to make it 100% scientific, yes you'd need to repeat this test like a 100 times =)

But i'd really like to see what would happen if they did it once, and what i'd also like to see is some budget walmart brand winning =)
