Speaking of starting off with push/roll, My Pinto, Every day I'd park on a hill at work and just let it roll down the hill in 2nd, pop the clutch and off I'd go! Sold it to a guy at 120,000 miles with same clutch and throwout bearing.....guess they overbuilt the drive train with that little fella. Of course no cats, haha.

I've drift started my Nismo a couple of times. Parked on a hill facing down. Hold the brake on. Put on 2nd gear. No clutch. Pushed the start button a couple of times. Push clutch in, take foot off of brake. Start to roll down hill. Pop clutch pedal. It fired right up after about 30ft.

And still the same answer, yes it can be done but it very well could cost you far more than a tow.
