these noises as stated are normal. You CAN make them go away by changing your driving habits. A more smooth transition of depressing the clutch makes the noise go away.

these noises as stated are normal. You CAN make them go away by changing your driving habits. A more smooth transition of depressing the clutch makes the noise go away. When you're shifting into 2nd, instead of just completely letting go of the gas abruptly, try transitioning smoothly. Let go of the gas in a very smooth gradual decreasing manner and then push the clutch as soon as it's completely off the gas. You won't hear the noise anymore. I can replicate this and make it go away as well. The Z is not the only car that's had this noise. It's just the nature of the tranny.
