Noob Question: 7AT Capable of Peel-Out?

I apologize, I'm a drivetrain n00b and I don't really know how far automatics have come since my clunker '95 BMW E38... Is the automatic transmission of the Z capable of a peel-out? If so, how is it done? I've driven one at my local dealer, but peeling out during a test drive isn't exactly a great idea.:eekdance:

I really badly want the ability to peel out...My E38 was never able to give off even a little chirp. :shakes head:

Simply yes! turn off the Vdc and nail it!

You can do this with a 370Z equipped with 7 speed automatic gearbox (if you want to). Peeling out? :rofl2:

I think my question has been answered.

I appreciate it guys. This was one of the things I was on the fence about: manual vs. auto...But seeing the auto doing that stuff right there...I think I know what I'm going with now. :tiphat:

1. Don't let your mom drive it.
2. Don't let your buddy drive it the night before you are going to drive it.

1. My mom wouldn't want to drive it.
2. I'd have to be out of my effing mind to do something like that....Actually, I'm NEVER gonna let one of my friends drive this thing, I don't trust them.

Easy...mine will smoke the tires in 1st or 2nd gear...from a stop or while moving. So yes...it's rather easy!
