Used Oil Analysis @9k miles using Redline 5W-30
 

I changed my oil this past Saturday and sent it off for analysis. Here are the results. :tiphat:

K&N. I'm also using a Filtermag and a magnetic drain plug.

Hard to argue with cold hard facts, looks like the Redline is doing you good.

Pretty nice. I'm still debating wether or to use Redline or Amsoil still

Oh and I have an oil cooler. I have no idea how much difference that makes to these results, but I figure I might as well mention it. It's Stillen's street-version cooler/kit with the 19-row Setrab core, not their larger one.

Do you have the oil cooler that mixes the oil with outside air through the high pressure hose to cool it or just the standard type?

Semtex, was your RL oil like mine? I changed it just over 9K. But it looked unusual.

No, mine looked normal. Yours does indeed look unusual. I hope everything's okay with your engine.

Looks great and 9K street miles is impressive. Any oil consumption?

First they asked me to keep it 5000 mile interval. This time they suggested me to do my next change after 6000 miles. Slowly increasing my interval as they are suggesting me :tup:

This is good to see. I have used Redline in all of my cars exclusively for the last 7 years.
