Ya but in the installation manual for the knob, it states in bold text, "CAUTION twisting the shifter can severely damage the transmission". Having no experience with Z's, and this being my first $30,000+ car, I didn't want to mess with my warranty or my tranny. Well worth the peace of mind for $50.
