Lag from 2nd to 3rd gear
 

hello guys,

So i have a 7AT, and im having a lag when shifting from 2nd to 3rd gear at high rpm.. its like i have to shift b4 the right time so it can shift at the time right b4 the red line.. but other gears are perfect.. they shift as soon as i shift up my tranny.. so my only problem is 2nd to 3rd..

anybody have this issue or it just me??

btw i forgot to mention.. if i shift from 2nd to 3rd at low rpm there is no lag AT ALL.. its only on high rpm like 6600 RPM and up

sounds like a software problem. i would check with the dealer and see if they have any latest ecu maps reflashes available. if not, just learn to shift early.

^ yeah i already shift earlier lol im used to it.. but its annoying.. if i fail and forgot to shift earlier then game over for me.. the car will lag and it need like 3-4 second to shift up..but i just wanna know why its only in 2nd to 3rd gear.. why not 1 to 2, or 3 to 4....
