It depends on the weight of a V8, V8 does not automatically mean more weight or miss balance.
It might change the left/right weight ratios.

It'd be worth it, just add weight in the back

WTF? Sounds like it modifies your RPMs to stray away from resonating speeds. Otherwise I don't know how they'd be able to do something like that

Nope, it was developed with Bose using noise-cancelling magic. Think Bose headphones............

Active noise control may just be more sound control pieces around the engine, specifically designed for certain "undesirable" frequencies.

Accords have the noise cancelling feature now too.
