Default Water pump

This may sound stupid, but where the hell is the water pump? I see the power steering pump, the alternator and the A/C unit off the serpentine belt but no water pump. Is is an electric pump?

If you can't find a part, try searching for it on Courtesy Parts' website. They have all the build schematics for the car.

Thanks for the help. I don't recall ever having a water pump where the suction hose didn't attach directly to it.

Not uncommon for chain driven water pumps to be this way.

Nissan, and others who do the same, must have extreme confidence in teh reliability of this type of setup. Just look at the labor involved to replace! I know when BMWs were having problems with water pumps they would have been screwed on warranty costs if they were using this type.
