I've had the redline injector cleaner do amazing things in some high millage cars i've picked up over the years. I actually had someone think i swapped the engine in the car after running it.

Here's another vote for Thechron. Though, I must admit, I've never tried the Redline brand one. Next time I go to Pep Boys/Advance Auto/Auto Zone I'll check it out!

2nd. I use a "20 gallon treatment" bottle every 2 oil changes. I did this on my previous car. I then had to have one of the heads pulled and the mechanic said it was one of the cleanest motors he had seen--valves and pistons. So I stick with it. Might be just placebo, but I feel better.

NISSAN does not recommend the use of any fuel additives (that is, fuel injector cleaner, octane booster, intake valve deposit removers, etc.) which are sold commercially.

Many of these additives intended for gum, varnish or deposit
removal may contain active solvent or similar ingredients that can be harmful to the fuel system and engine

Texaco gas already contains Techron (a Chevron-Texaco product, BTW). When I can't get Texaco, then I add the 20-oz bottle of Techron.
