Recent hard or no start when warm E85

Would this still happen with a fuel return system? I don't get why it would vapor lock after sitting for 3 or 4 hours and after the sun goes down. Would increasing fuel reg pressure a tad help?

It's not vapor locking. If it was, it would be if your ran into a store and ran back out or if you stopped to get fuel.
