Recently I converted my flywheel from the stock dual mass flywheel to a solid flywheel to a heavy duty Clutch. Since then it starts strong on a cold start but if I restart the engine after a decent drive (oil and coolant temps up to temp) it struggles to start back up and cranks relatively slow. Now my guess is one of 2 things but I’m not sure. Either my battery need replacing as it’s harder to push current through higher temps especially if the battery isn’t healthy. Or the weight of the new flywheel is heavier than the stock flywheel and I need to look at replacing the starter motor. Any ideas are appreciated.
