Hey everyone! I just had my tuner install ISR HFCs on my 09 370z.
The car was throwing a P0420 for catalyst efficiency, so I thought it was a good excuse to upgrade. My tuner suggested that he could put in the O2 defoulers to keep the codes away or he could "disable" the codes (P0420/430), which he did for my P0300 code and I have had no trouble with passing inspection. I told him to just do the codes as the defoulers seem to be a hit or miss. However, I am concerned that this will be different with P0420/430. My question is, will I pass inspection or is there something else I should do to make sure I am 100% before getting the car inspected. |
