Why does Fast Intentions relocate the oil filter in the TT kit?

Any FI TT's out there that want to shine in on why FI relocates the oil filter as part of their TT kit? Or is it just an option and I'm mistaken?

At first, i thought it was due to space to clear IC / intake piping. But, moving the oil filter from the passenger side to the driver's side sort of.. moves the same problem to the other side.

Second thought was shorter oil cooler lines if both the oil cooler and sandwhich plate are on the driver's side.

third thought was because of the Greddy oil pan, it's easier to change the oil filter... but, could be easily resolved using a longer oil filter (Nissan Titan).

Much appreciated!

Yes... looks like your not running the Greddy oil pan that usually comes with the kit. That CJM is an active baffled pan probably.

Also see your scavenging oil, Specialty Z Exa kit? I just finished making my own with the Exa mini.

Why do they relocate filter?

That is a CJ Motorsports oil pan. They moved the oil filter due to piping clearance from what I remember.
