7AT Cooler Line Washer Size

I've searched here including in DIY's (none for 7AT removal), looked at Courtesy parts page (no listing), and in the FSM. No where does it give a size of the crush washers at the banjo bolts where the cooler lines attach to the transmission.

I'd like to have the correct size on hand when swapping in a VR30 transmission.

Does anyone have notes on the size please?

Thanks. :tiphat:

Thanks but any idea what metric size it is so I don't have to source from the dealer?

Also, where did you find the parts fiche?

No idea the size. If you have the trans laying around you could likely measure from an imprint left by the original washers torqued to the surface.

There are several dealerships with online fiche but just out of ease of remembering I usually use nissanpartsdeal to lookup part numbers, or infinitipartsdeal for the Gs and Qs. From there I put the part number into google and find the best prices after shipping and its always between the same few dealerships that have the best prices on Nissan parts in the USA.

If you’re ever ordering something really expensive or high quantities of something small; it’s worth going to the nengun website and seeing if they have cataloged it, and if not, email them and ask them to add it. I have saved big money there on some things, as prices are often much lower in Japan, and shipping can make sense. Think I saved about $1000 on brand new vr38 cylinder heads not long ago.

Unfortunately I'm doing an OE removal / VR30 in at the same time so trying to ready to go with all the parts (IE washers) needed within my time constraint. Probably safest route will be grabbing from the dealer.

Thanks for all of the info. on OE parts as well! Prior to your info. I've only seen "get your parts from Courtesy Nissan".

Did you already get the VR30 7AT? Sometimes wrecking yards ship them with the banjo bolts and washers.

Not yet but I don't want to reuse what's already been crushed once.

I was just referring to the chance you would get the OE washers to get size correct.
