Windshield resivor sensor unplugged? Meth kit

Hey all doing some work on the car I noticed the sensor is unplugged and I'm wondering if there may be a reason for it since the car has water

Default Windshield resivor sensor unplugged? Meth kit

Hey all doing some work on the car I noticed the sensor is unplugged and I'm wondering if there may be a reason for it since the car has water meth. Would there be a logical reason for it?20230423_081710.jpg

So you don't wash your windows with methanol. Thats the pump that's unplugged, the sensor is on the bottom.

Thanks. Don't see why that would be bad since washer fluid is diluted basically boost juice 20 vs 50% meth. Would also be a way to drain some if it out if it gets really old, I think the boost juice has been in there is almost a year.
