Transmission problem
What’s up guys, so recently I bought a boosted 370z and it has a super twin desk clutch and the previous owner isn’t sure if it has a Heavy duty slave cylinder or a cylinder delete. Now every time I try to bang gears it doesn’t let, it’s like there’s a wall there for a second or two then it goes into gear and it does that to every single gear. If I shift normal then it’s fine.. also sometimes when it’s cold out and I got to put it in reverse it grinds. My guess is it could be the clutch or slave cylinder… Any idea what might be causing these issues and did anyone have a similar issues?

You can tell if its a CSC delete by looking under car and at transmission to see if there is a Slave cylinder on the outside. If not, you still have CSC.
Try refreshing clutch fluid, bleeding and checking for leaks first. Probably the easiest first step. |

As ZoomZ mentioned, check under the tranny to see if it's on the outside rather than the inside the housing bell. Regarding the gear grind, try putting into a forward gear first before going into reverse. I always do this before going into reverse in any manual car. |
If it's a delete like a Z1. It might need an adjustment.

If you're having trouble going in gear the stick shift may not have been properly torqued in sequence. There's 3 bolts holding it in place. If the stick shifts three fasteners are not torqued in sequence and I believe in the proper gear, you could have gear engagement issues. |
1) bleed the clutch system see if any air comes out.
2) take off the little metal plate under the transmission btw tranny n engine and look inside the bell housing to see if anything is leaking or waay too dirty inside. if it is, u might have a consecutive slave cylinder issue. I personally use Dolton slave cylinder |
My solution is order the Zspeed stage3 twin disk clutch kit with CMSK CSC delete kit
