Throttle relay is off?

My 370Z is in limp mode throwing p1606. I bought the Z1 Motorsports scanner and ran through modules and noticed that relay is off, is that bad?

The throttle relay is in the IPDM.

Usually when the relay stops working is due to throttle body connections or the big black E3 square plug that goes to the VVEL module.

This connector holds VVEL and IPDM wiring and houses the signal to throttles and the ground for the Throttle relay.

Most likely there is a faulty connection in this connector (usually debris since it's pointed upwards)

I see you said Z1 scanned it, is the vehicle running Ecutek/Uprev?
There is some limited documented info on Ecutek/Uprev giving this issue due to software bug. A flash to stock can resolve this issue as well.

Good luck.

Thank you for responding, sorry for the ever but I said I bought a Z1 scanner lol, gonna check it out. But I have another question, I noticed when I unplugged my ECM one of the connectors didn't have a metal pin like the other holes? is it just the open slot??

Yes if there isn't a wire to that slot that looks open and the pin didn't push back into the connector is was always "open".
