Need help with fuel pump relay location

If anybody is doing the same job and wiring in a kill switch, if you find terminal 22 blank on the black connector (the one closest to the engine bay) then try terminal 23 with a multi meter on the continuity setting where you can hear the beep, with the IPDM terminal 77 wire. Should be the red wire with 2 silver marks every so often. Hope this helps.
23 is the empty one. I think you were looking at the pins from the wrong side of the connector. 22 and 23 are in mirrored positions, so looking at the connector from the opposite side it would appear as you've described. The FSM diagram of the pin locations is looking at the connector from the wire side, which I personally find counter-intuitive but I have gotten used to it over the years.
