Tries to crank wont start

My cars been sitting for a few weeks unstarted, I tried to turn it on today, battery was dead, I connected it to another car to jump it, the battery showed 14v on the in car meter. I can hear the fuel pump prime, I press the clutch and the car tries to crank, but wont turn. I tried a few times after letting it sit for about 30 minutes connected to other car.

This cars been sitting because it needs transmission work, most likely a piolet baring someone here has theorized, or csc failure. I'm changing both those along with a clutch and CSC delete, but now the car also wont start. So now even more cost added to fix it woo. Was hoping I can rule that one out since it used to turn even with the bad transmission issue.

Thanks

I'm going to go on a limb and assume you've checked your fuel level for starters, but after that, I'd start with a new battery (worst case, return it if it isn't the problem).

Just because a battery shows 12 V, does not mean it can provide the CA for the starter. Specially using the car gauge.

You need to capacity test it after a full cycle of bench charging.

Or just go buy a new battery for 100 bucks.

Check the main fuse and make sure it is not blown.
