Crankshaft pulley shattered while removing

Trying to remove my crankshaft pulley by immobilisingAttachment 150677 it with a crow bar to allow the removal of the bolt resulted in a catastrophic failure (a first for me, as I’ve used this method of immobilising the pulley many times).
I’m now left with a bit of a mess. I can cut the bolt flange away with a grinder and remove the bold, but have nothing to put a puller onto, to remove what’s left of the pulley. Any advice?

Have you tried power tools to remove it? My 1/2 Milwaukee impact gun didn’t even flinch when I took the bolt out my 2011 few months ago.

And once you remove the bolt it looks like you still could use this kind of puller. From my experience 370z pulley comes off pretty easy.

Aftermarket pulley. The bolt galvanic corrosion welded to the pulley.

I tried power tools, heat and nothing makes it budge. I will cut the flange off the bolt and try pulling with a set of pullers like you show. I might hit a problem getting the legs of the puller to grip, as there’s no edge to catch. I’ll take some photos.
Luckily I have a new bolt and another pulley from another engine. I’m only doing this to get to the gallery gaskets, so this is only the start of the story.

Managed to get it off.
I cut through the flange on the bolt and could remove the bolt with my fingers. I then had to grind some flat spots on the rear of the broken pulley for the fingers of my puller to grab on to. After that, it simply pulled off. Here’s the photos. I hope this helps someone else.

You're not the first one who broke an aluminum dampener taking it off.

That's not an aluminum dampener. Looks to be the stock 370Z dampener.

Personally I've never had an issue with any Nissan pulley. My M18 Milwaukee takes it off in 2 seconds and you don't even need a pulley puller. Just wiggle the thing back and forth and it slides out. Done it this way on over 50+ VQs in the past 5-6 years.

On my phone. The pictures are tiny. Can't see any detail.

It fits in between the radiator and all the other junk?

Nope.

I ended up cutting the center rib on mine's then glued it back.

I was dreading cutting but dreaded taking the front end more than anything else.
