Default 2011 GTM supercharger Nismo forged engine build

Finally started my new engine build after I blew my original exactly a year ago at the track. It took so long because had to build my garage first to accommodate the build and on top of everything the delays on parts are through the roof. Last weekend I got my block from machine shop, got the piston rings grinded to spec by my buddy who is experienced engine builder. The rest is on me. Yesterday I installed the crank in and started to prep the rods and pistons.
Parts list:

11.1CR 96mm wiseco pistons with armor coating
BC connecting rods with arp 625+ fasteners
King standard size coated race bearings for mains and rods
ARP main studs,
ARP L19 head studs
Cometic head gaskets
JWT C2 cams
CZP oil gallery gaskets with updated hardware
GTR spark plugs
Ati super damper
Shorty z1 headers with de test pipes
Boundary engineering oil pump with 2 shim option
Engine mods already on that car are GTM stage 1.5 supercharger kit 88mm pulley and fast intentions exhaust but will run 84mm pulley to compensate for smaller ATI crank pulley
Radium surge tank with 340 aem fuel pump
Coolerworx shifter
RPM roll bar

Will be tuned on 100octane. Currently have 660 injectors and 250 walbro fuel pump. My tuner said to install 1050 injectors and 340 aeromotive pump. Didn’t say anything about fuel return system but I might just throw it in there so I won’t have fuel delivery issues.

Sounds like a plan! Looks like a great place to put in work!

Got the pistons in today. On of the issues with main stud kit is that the windage tray will have to be modified to fit around the studs.

Are you planning to upgrade to the c38r rotrex supercharger ? ….the c38 that comes with the stage 1.5 and stage 2 gtm kits will max out around 9-10 ish lbs boost with the 88mm pulley. I ran a 85mm pulley and was 12 lbs. wouldn’t really be pushing a built motor much.

For now I’m going to stick with what I got but once current supercharger unit gives up, the plan is to go with c38r. Car will be dedicated track car so with current power levels is plenty fast. My main concern is to make sure engine runs well and it’s reliable.

So turns out I made rookie mistake. The instructions that came with pistons don’t mention anything or at least I didn’t see it which direction the pistons go. The dot on top of piston indicates the front of engine. Good thing only one pair faces wrong directions, #2 and #5 will have to be swapped.

Basically long block is assembled. Just left is the VVEL control solenoid and lower oil pan as its still on the blown engine. JWT valve spring compressor is well worth the money. Now need to push the car back into the garage and remove engine/trans assembly and start swapping everything over.

started engine removal. Getting closer to swap. Working on it as the time allows. Weekends been busy. Since Covid backed everything up it seems every other weekend there’s some kind of party going on 🤦*♂️ Ruins my plans to keep working on the car. ATI super damper still didn’t arrive. Last thing I’m waiting on.

Does anyone knows the torque spec of jwt camshaft bolt? The highlighted part in green on the photo washed out and can’t tell what it says. It is the same as oem exhaust sprocket bolt?

Just a note.. but,

my JWT cam lobes would strike the ladder in a couple places.

My heads are off a 2010 MY so not sure what yours are - or even if they are affected.

Better to know and check now, vs later.
