6mt Transmission Play
 

Hey guys.

I have a 6mt 370z and I've put all of the goodies into the drive line, diff mount/brace, trans mount, motor mounts, etc. Anyways, when I have it lifted and in first gear, theres like 4 inches of play at the tire. I can see everything moving as it should all the way to where the driveshaft enters the trans, where the driveshaft rotates like 20-30° before engaging. Is that normal or is 20-30° of movement at the transmission a lot?

I don't remember the car having so much play when I got it.

Aside from the play, it has a pretty loud whine in 1st gear and it's pretty crunchy going in to 5th. I've recently replaced the trans fluid with redline mt-85 and the car has a cmak v3 and a super light aluminum flywheel, like 11 or 12 lbs. Any help is really appreciated 👍
