Default Vibration from bad torque converter?

Hello, quick intro: i'm here to learn about the VQ platform and share if I can.

I'm wondering if anybody here could help me assess my car

I have a VR trans in my car at the moment, the swap was done about 4 months ago. I watched loads of videos and read lots of stories before doing the swap. I bought the tranny and had it shipped to me, and when it arrived, the torque converter was barely hanging off the tranny, unsupported. I noticed it but I had hoped that it was sturdy enough not to get damaged (dumb).

After the install was complete (I made sure to seat the TC properly to hear the 3 clicks), I used the car as usual up until now. One thing that I noticed was that during WOT at higher rpms, there seemed to be a slight vibration coming from under the car. I thought it was my driveshaft and got that rebalanced. I also got my differential profesionally re-done (it's started whining again so I have to take it back). However, after all is said and done, the slight and intermittent vibration is still there.

Along with the vibration, I feel like my car is really down on power. I remember when I only did HFC, catback and tune, my car just ******* flew when it went past 3-4K rpm. Right now, it feels like it's struggling to keep up with OEM cars, even with all these crazy FBO mods that I have on my car since then (headers, E85, test pipes, high ratio diff, 3 inch intakes, new tune). I'm thinking that maybe the torque converter got damaged during transit and is causing excessive vibration, and perhaps is triggering some sort of knock sensor in the engine and causing it to go into limp mode? But none of the codes show any problems. I'm pretty disappointed to say the least. I haven't replaced the TC yet but the feeling of lack of power is really getting to me. Thoughts? Thanks for reading

Best bet is to datalog and send it to your tuner for clarity to rule out knocking etc.

Were your driveshaft universal joints checked during balancing?
Beyond that I assume the converter/transmission itself are used and either could be the culprit.
