Bell raceworks Rear differential brace(finned) question
I recently installed the bell raceworks rear different finned brace and I noticed that the subframe screw on the rear differential wasn’t completely flat. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...5141dd67e3.jpg
https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...b79941dd10.jpg I took the brace out and remounted it and it provided the same result. So then I tightened down the screw as far as it goes. Is this normal with your installs too? I couldn’t find much info about it and there is no install instructions. Here’s a view of the other side of the subframe screw.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...cf2c713739.jpg I https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...ae1ac8ea1e.jpg Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
Difficult to tell but to me it looks like you went through the whole subframe. I'm not 100% sure on that brace itself but looks like it mounts just like a recent one I did.
That nut I believe goes inside the subframe. https://youtu.be/8pVPPgYLxQk. Heres my video,go to the 2 minute mark to see what I'm talking about. Hope that helps. |

The third picture on my post is kinda confusing, the nut showing it’s the second one that pins directly into the differential not the subframe one. I actually used the video you mentioned to install the brace and I put it inside the subframe exactly like the video. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
