I can see it! I don't know anything about rebuilding diffs, but it looks fairly thorough. Let us know how it goes!

Which diff did you go with?

The vent tube should have been installed before bolting the diff cover to the diff housing. Less chance of getting metal shaving in the diff.

Did you reuse the stock shims or did you have to use other shims?

I will go quaifie diff, I will replace most stuff in it but reuse the stock shims to get closest spec to stock, but adjesting and setting up the back lash of my new 3.9 ring gear is hard for me, I will measure all spec and disstance of stock, and set up the pinion as close as possible to stock
The most thing I don't know here is the backlash and torque of bolts from Nissan not internet.

How hard is rebuilding the final gear? should I leave my 3.6 finial gear and dont touch it for easier installation?

Question

So....... you haven't done this yet?

Give you a tip on the crush sleeve. If you over tighten it. It's junk. It's a one time deal. Then you have to use another new sleeve again.

He's in the planning stages according to his first post. The power point is for reference; it wasn't documenting his work.
