Yeah, but you're a freak Most guys have no business driving a 900whp z. My sc'd z was fun at 680 (probably closer to 700 due to clutch slip). I may be in that same hp area with my tt build.

when gbrettin’s z is done y’all need to attend a 1/2 mile event and see who’s got the fastest time and trap speed…. I think I speak for everyone here when I saw I’d love to see that. Loser has to put a sticker on his windshield that says “i shoulda got a v8/or I shoulda gone TT”. And keep it on there until the next zdayz. |

I'm not going to derail the whole thread... BUT. I'm 100% good with a half mile next year. The race should be really good because I don't have a large displacement LS, it's a 4.8, and my turbos not high dollar whirly boys (yet).
Hell, maybe we can even coordinate this just prior to Zdayz and get a bunch of the modded Z's out there? Anyway... this topic will spiral out of control here. |

I would have never ridden in it if he wasn't a pro race car driver. At that hp, things can go wrong way faster than the average person can react to. It was insanely fast.

Same with a Z. First sign of issues you back off a little on the throttle or lift. I don't give rides at that level very often. Only Elmo370z has gotten all of it. The back end was skating around perty good that day. It is very easy for things to go wrong even if you are at your best. The higher gears are just as stupid fast as 3rd. I hope the boost by gear and ramping in the boost makes it more useable.

My build is a personal journey of what I can do from the ground up AND something I can share with the community for ideas in general. From what I gather your build is something similar; however, I haven't read your whole thread and only read a small excerpts here and there. I did find it laughable that the hang-up to consider a build a "build" are functional gauges. However, that's you're opinion and you're entitled to that. --- Edit I'm not going to bring this topic up in here further. It detracts from the thread as a whole.
