Question Vibration Driving me Crazy

I've been searching the threads for a while trying to find my problem but was unable to. So i have a 2010 370z (automatic) and there is vibration/ shake when the rpm is around 3k-4k rpm but when you put it in neutral during the vibration/shake it goes away. in higher gears, it would happen around 1.5k - 3k rpm. took it the shop they check the driver shaft, mounts, diff bushings and nothing. the car also shakes around 60mph and up. i have z1 ploy trans mount. as far as the tires its been balanced, the alignment its good. Please help. if i cant find the problem is time to move on and sell this car ( i don't want to)

Go back to the factory transmission mount.

I am sure it introduces some and it is very likely your problem. The factory mounts work just fine.

So you get shakes that are:

Speed dependent.
RPM dependent.
Gear dependent?

The whole car shake? Shifter? Steering wheel? All of them?

Tire balancing: was it road force balanced or just regular balancing? That makes a difference for low profile tires. I assume you have a sport pkg.

yes, sport package. and yes speed-dependent, rpm dependent, and in all gear except for 1st. sometimes it does it in 2nd gear. but mostly 3rd and up. its also random consistent if that makes sense. it was regular balanced. shifter, steering wheel, car, i can see the rearview mirror stake too. sometimes on long drives i can hear this humming pulsing sound.

It’s standard practice to always start by removing non-factory items and modifications. A poly trans mount definitely will introduce more harshness and vibration.

They check torque on engine/transmission mount bolts, or just visual?

My guesses:
1) Bad u-joint(s)
2) Bad wheel bearing(s). Beacuse load makes a difference, I would suspect the rear.

But could also be a diff or trans issue. Either internal or, as mentioned above, a mount.

Doesn't really sound like an engine problem, but I'm just guessing at all this.

Good luck figuring it out and please let us know if you find out what's going on.

So fml I went under today . Found that the driver side bolts was loose on the trans mount. Not very loose but loose. Decided to just change it since I had the car up anyways . And damn it . It was the mount. How is it that bad. Others say the vibration is not that bad . But it’s pretty bad. So now I have z1 Poly motor mounts and trans mount for sale.
