Budget 4.0l interest
I'm getting ready to bite the bullet on R&d'ing a budget 4.0 stroker kit and want to gauge real interest. It would be ideal for 7500rpm and lower and FI applications up to 700ish whp. For an extra $7-800 it would be good to just about 1000whp if your head gaskets can hold it. Now here's the kicker core block plus roughly $3000 for an ASSEMBLED short block. Lmk so I can see wether this is worth putting time into
Just to clarify this would be roughly $4k cheaper than a Brian Crower kit

Can't give away all the secrets lol it's a forged crank and not reworked, just adapted. And it may be no Bryant billet tool steel deal but it works and it's not $4000. It has all the heat treating and features it was Originally born with.

Also it will work with any standard vhr piston(stock or aftermarket) just lower the rated compression by a point. So stock vhr pistons would be about 9.9:1
Edit as a side note stock vhr pistons actually put up to quite a beating if you treat them right

LOL, it is not. I was just messing with you. You will be ready when the time comes for the engine upgrade. You will have some control over the boost in the curves with your right foot. It is a big benefit over the smaller turbo's. You have no control with them.

I do have 2 good motors right now so I may eventually build the spare one. Yep, boost is harder to control with the smaller turbos. That was one big reason of going with the bigger turbos. That, and they'll actually be easier on the motor. I'll keep the boost and torque in the (hopefully) safe range.
