That, and they'll actually be easier on the motor. I'll keep the boost and torque in the (hopefully) safe range.

With 18” wheels? I have the calculations which it says would work perfect and act like 3.69 on 19”’s

Wheel size doesn't change diff ratio just tire size. Are you running a Miata height tire?

Edit: with a 3.33 rear gear you would be running a 24" tall tire to get back to a 3.69 ratio vs ~26.5" tire stock

Boost by gear with Ecutek will change things a bit. Not sure how it will do but I will be trying that first before even considering a diff change.

Well the r&d motor is pushed way back into fall so it's hard to say anything for sure but it would be done as an ASSEMBLED short block
