Well it looks like you are good to go after cleaning.

Sure are. Since I don't know crap about fuel injectors, I wonder if those low flow rates contributed to my motor blowing? And, I wonder why injector #4 was wide open? Was it stuck wide open?

That wasn't a lot of miles either. Pump e85 is hard on injectors. I guess I'm going to need to run a tank of pump gas through it more often

Yep, pump e85 can be rough on injectors and fuel pumps. I just received a barrel Sunoco e85-r which is race e85 so it should be pretty clean.

Definitely the way to go. I have Seb on the line right now. I'm going to go over the results with him

That's what got you. Did you have the injectors cleaned before you started using them again? That was one of my worst fears. I had mine cleaned and tested when they put my new motor in. They also drained the tank of the pump E85 in it.

Nope, I didn't. Big mistake. If the one injector that was wide open was stuck wide open, it could have hydrolocked the motor also. Under boost with both fuel pumps going, that's a lot of fuel being dumped into the cylinder. I'll also have the old e85 drained this next go round. It looks like I will probably be going with the stage (Seb) turbos :icon17: instead of the stage 1. Unfortunately, they won't be available until August/September so my cars going to sit a few more months.

See about installing an Injector Dynamic's ID-750 fuel filter. I have one. My injectors were good to go. I attribute it to the fuel filter.

Good idea, I'll talk to Seb about it

I like that filter. Seb really likes it too. There will definitely be one going on my car. Thanks for the tip :tiphat:
