How often did you flush the fuel system with a tank of just gas? Thinking of running ethanol later this summer and rather not constantly pull injectors to get them cleaned. Hoping running gas occasionally will prevent problems.

I only ran one tank of gas in 7k miles. The rest was on pump E85. Run a proper filter and it is not a problem as long as the car is used regularly. If the car is going to sit for several months, pickle the fuel system with Gas.

My tuner suggests after a few tanks of e85 to run a tank of pump gas. I think my issue might have been that my car being down for 6 months and then driving it to burn all the e85 out of it to get it ready for tuning purposes. Spooler mentions it in his post.

My car sat for about six months with a tank of e85 in it while I was doing my blower conversion. I then drove it to drain the tank so I could put some 91 in it for my new tune. That tank of e85 might have gone bad. I'm not sure though.

That was your down fall. Sitting with E85 in the tank is not good. Mine sat for a while hence why I had the tank drained and the injectors cleaned just to be safe. I didn't want to damage a brand new engine. The fuel filter keep all the junk out.

And my car's sitting with e85 in it again. I'll make sure Seb has it drained and flushed if necessary. I'm definitely buying the Injector Dynamics filter you recommend
