GTHaus Meisterschaft Axleback OR Remark V2 axle back
Why is there such a difference in price?
|
GTHaus Meisterschaft sees itself as a high-end exhaust builder and prices itself as such.
Remark sees itself as an entry level (above Amazon/eBay) exhaust builder and prices itself as such. That's my opinion. |
The Meisterschaft has a very unique high pitched sound which some consider exotic. Others consider it obnoxiously loud. It also looks very unique and high-end especially with the split exhaust tips.
The Remark exhaust is a cheap alternative which is supposedly made by Greddy. The Remark V2 is the new version which I am assuming has reduced drone levels. I had the V1 and I found the drone unbearable and the sound not any better than a muffler delete. I cannot comment on the V2. But I notice that they’ve incorporated an X-pipe into the muffler which I have never seen before. I’m assuming it’s to reduce drone and resonance. |
Depends on this forum exhaust is very subjective here everyone likes something different. It's your Z if you are installing a axle back exhaust I would go for a ride with someone that has the exhaust you like on their Z or listen to sound clips of the exhaust you like but most of the time does not serve it justice. If you are opting for a axle back exhaust I would get the AAM Competition short tail exhaust (axle back) with the upgraded tips option I believe it's one of the best axle back exhausts for our cars.

I just installed the Remark V1... & the drone has turnt me off completely. If you're going with Remark I suggest the V2, it's not that much louder than stock but there is no drone. I will be swapping the Remark V1 out with the Tanabe Medallion or "Revel" re-branded

I'm not looking to go loud. That's why I'm thinking of getting the V2.
