Starter cranking

Arrived in mail today from Snap-on, in only two days. Is there enough metal showing or aligator clip will go deep enough on 'S' switch once connector is removed? or

Is there enough metal showing or aligator clip will go deep enough on 'S' switch once connector is removed? or do I have to jimmy rig a plug-in for the 'S' contact on starter? (sorry car cover is on and I'm too tired to remove and open hood. or remove engine splash shield. ) TIA zz
