NST Underdrive Pulleys?

Over the winter season and my Z being in storage I’m going to do a engine rebuild. I have been using the Stillen underdrive crank pulley and their serpentine belt with no issues Z runs like a top! On my last dyno I seen an improvement of 5hp with the Stillen underdrive crank pulley. For engine rebuild I’m thinking about using the NST underdrive crank and alternator pulleys. Is anyone here currently using the NST underdrive pulley kit? What is your experience and do you see any side effects from using the NST underdrive pulley kit like flicking headlights etc.? Considering using both underdrive pulleys. I searched and did not find the answer I was looking for.

Some are prone to failure....the older version. The spokes break. Stay away from those.. New versions are thicker. Despite some failures, mine have lasted. I have the older version 8 yrs running with no issues.

I think that I will give the ATI Super Damper a try this time around. I know Spoiler also used the ATI Super Damper. Bob what serpentine belt did you use? What was your experience with the ATI Super Damper did you gain any power from it? Any realistic gains?

It uses the stock belt. But it's at the end of adjustment on the tensioner. I don't have any numbers on it because I installed after my tune.

Thank you for your insight it’s good to know that the stock serpentine belt will fit with the ATI super damper but is a snug fit. Since I diagnosed the high pitched squeak noise in the front of the engine to be a faulty idler pulley seems to have went bad. I will install a new Genuine Nissan serpentine belt idler pulley and ATI super damper with a new Gates racing serpentine belt seems to work very well I have not broke one yet! Wish me happy wrenching I have my work cut out for me.

Although people have told me in the past that there are gains to be had using the ATI super damper. Anyone interested in the NST pulleys I have a coupon code pm me.

Curious on the gains with the ATI, cause isn't it slightly heavier than the stock pulley?

I thought the main benefit of it was the smoothness it proves?
