If you want comfort, yes.

If you want truth, stay.

SG4247 10-26-2020 11:42 AM

Prolly only make 275 whp before, you should be happy!

Your parents happy with the gain?

crazy4oldcars 10-26-2020 01:51 PM

I would imagine "first run" is with the mods, but no tune...
With our motor, 400 at the crank with bolt-on mods is a dream not many achieve. What you're seeing is about average for what I've seen posted. Forced induction is the only, ...scratch that, easiest way the go higher.

Who tuned it?

What kind of dyno? Mustang, Dynojet, Hub?

With the mods you got. You're in the ball park.

Stock Nismo is around 279 HP at the rear wheels.

Go easy on him, it's rare for a first grader to be able to buy a car and figure out posting on a forum.

Spooler 10-26-2020 02:43 PM

Normal, only way to get to 320 to 330hp is with long tube headers and no cats. All the crap you hear of 340hp is not the norm for a manual car.

lol

I am rather sure he paid for his car and mods in cash.

I know why he doesn't have FB.

I normally don't care if one is given a head start in life....but I get real short when it is combined with lack of understanding of what one just bought (vicarious spending then cry about results).

My house is literally 2 stop signs away from an entrance to a state/public university here. It's amazing some of the cars I see coming in and out...I'm just gonna shut myself up here.

Sorry, done ranting.

unless it's a joke account, some people have a phase where they think out loud about issues they know the answers to but refuse to acknowledge.

Case in point, anyone should know what they're getting with this car, and where they're going to get power. The blueprint is virtually there.

There are more pressing matters, like how many NOS bottles do I need tonight?
