CEL possibility on 2011 370z (resonated test pipes)

I just ordered resonated test pipes for my 2011 370z I know there is problem with CEL popping up after installing test pipes but i heard that on older models It should be ok. So just wanted to ask if its true or if its the same no matter the year. I have 2011 so I hope im alright. Thanks for reply.

Less of a chance for you since you have a model year prior to 2015, which I believe is when the chances of a CEL went up.

A number of manufacturers offer an extended J-bung option on their test pipes as another way to help keep those pesky CELs away :twocents:
